Day 2 of Inktober Tangles 2021. So far, so good. Today’s tangle is Naaki by Nadine Roller, CZT. This one is a very versatile pattern, can be transformed in many different ways, but I decided to stick with the basics with just a couple of additional touches. I tried to add some color with pencils but unfortunately the green pencil is barely visible in the video, as you can see bellow, and in the photo of the finished drawing it looks yellow. Oh, well, I guess I’ll use darker colors in the future.
A black-and-white mandala for Inktober.
A full page tangle from my art journal that took a while to finish, but it turned out nice and was fun to do. It was a good piece for Inktober since I spent several days drawing it and practicing the repetitive triangular shapes and straight lines. It is very relaxing to do repetitive shapes and as usual I used Faber-Castell pens of various tip sizes.
It’s October and this year I’m taking part in Inktober. I couldn’t do it last year because I was very busy at work, but this time around I’ll try to post at least a couple of pictures a week starting with this mandala done with the Faber-Castell Shades of Grey set of 6 brush pens.
